Mr. Ramsaroop you say that you have a vision for Guyana . what is your vision ? If you did had a vision you should have stayed in Guyana and work to make Guyana a better place .
you are back in Guyana after so many years expect the people of this country to vote for you . There were you in 1992 when the PNC “slow fire moe fire” where killing Indo Guyana where were you, I KNOW in the GOOD OLD USA with your Family enjoying live whiles in Guyana we where getting killed .
MR. Ramsaroop you and the other hypocrite in our party should go back to where every you came from .
you are always accuseing the PPP Government of doing noting for Guyana . they have done more for t his country than you and your party can do in ten life time.

I appreciate your comments. My parents came to the US and brought me with them at 17 (I was still a minor and had no choice). I used the opportunity to develop myself. I agree many were suffering in Guyana during the PNC error, that is public record.
After I could have managed myself I move back to Guyana in 2000 and invested fully in Guyana in 2003/2004 and have lived there since then. I have experienced both sides of the political spectrum.
We all continue to work hard for Guyana. I will acknowledge the PPP has done some improvements in the infrastructure of the country, but have failed to address the social plague we face when it comes to poverty.
We have a vision of economic recovery that will hopefully balance the social ills.
I appreciate your comments and will take it as a challenge that we all must figure out a way to work with each other.

Yes, at this point I do plan to run for the highest office in the land. We have put our broad plan in two books.

Everyday we are getting the message out to the Guyanese population, we are engaged in my social and community activities as we believe it is now where we all need help.
We are continuing to build our team both locally and abroad. We believe it is all of us working together must fight to get out of race politics and concentrate on being servants to society.
Programs such as our Newborn program and education grants are helping familes.

beside your bank book method what are some other ways that your party plan to reduce poverty . the PPP government has put several plan to reduce poverty in Guyana.
There are many economic initatives that we plan to address.
1. Investment Code Changes to encourage FDI
2. Road to Brazil - Many economic changes
3. Alternative Energy - Sugar to Ethanol
4. P3 initiatives (public private sector role)
5. Creating Guyana as the Bread Basket to the Caribbean (Note Brazil is export 150B in agri products to North America)
6. ……. lots more, the creation of jobs jobs jobs is what is needed, we need to implement an economic stimulus package that puts money back to the citizens that allows the economy to turn over
If you have time to go thru the columns, you will get a feel of many of the specific initiatives that needs to be implemented.
NOTE: We have published and lobby for these changes. We are not concern if the PPP decide to take them and implement.
Our goal is for a better and one guyana that at the end of the day the people beneifit.. NOT US.

you have published your ideal but why you did not work along with the GOG t implement these idea. why are you saying that the GOG has plagiarize your idea the GOG recored these idea before your books was published.
MR.Ramsaroop what do u have plan for the youth of Guyana if your are running for President in 2011.

1. No I did not say the PPP took any ideas, i said we continue to lobby for changes (governance, economic etc)
GOG refused many of our help if we do not belong to the party. (fact)
2. Many programs for young people., equal opportunity education for all, job technical training, opening up of new economies such as outsourcing that creates immediate jobs…(similar to India approach).and many more.

Mr. Ramsaroop opening a saving bank book for children under the poverty line will not cut it or going around the ROOP van saying that u have Guyana best interest still will not cut it . you and your party can not match the PPP Government in what they have accomplish in the years that they have being in power . they have build more school , hospital create more for the people in Guyana , gain more overseas investor in the country . they hosting of the 2007 ICC WORLD CUP proved that .
the PPP Government has done more for this country and the People than any other Government has .

If you are better off and doing well, under this government then I would hope you will vote for them. For those that are jobless (0ver 40%), for those that are suffering with a morbid tax system (16% VAT), and the security failure where we see 24 dead because of lack of protection, to people that continue to be poor, then we hope to give those people a choice.
We are coming strong for 2011. We hope that you will study your future and re-consider us for 2011 in order to see economic prosperity for all.

In your second to last comment you said that your are not running for President in 2011, but in your last comment you imploding that you will be running in 2011. Roop why are you so indecisive a leader. Roop you need to STOP flip flopping. We leave the flip flopping for the America; ho I forgot you are any America. 1. I hope your philosphy is not represented of the PPP/C where you would deny a guyanese contribution to his or her country. India developed to one of the most wealthiest nation because of the diaspora contributions back to their country. I advise you to do some research on Non-Resident Indians.
2. As a nation we must move on and stop living in the past. I hope your children will be able to see better the vision.
3. The PPP/C has failed Guyana in creating an economic envrionment where each of us can prosper.

Peter you are running once again for president , I do admire your work in trying to help the less fortunate and I know God is on your side. It is refreshing to see other individuals running for office. I would like to add to my fellow Guyanese that the PPP, PNC or the other political paries does not have the monopoly on who becomes the leader of this great nation. It is the sovereign right of every born Guyanese to run for whatever office he or she chooses. You can do the same!
I would also add that it is often said that Guyana is the poorest country in the hemisphere, but at the same time what I see it is different. I as well as my fellow Guyanese knows that we are blessed with an abubdance of natural resources. Why aren’t these resources getting to the people. There is enough land in Guyana for every Guyanese to own a piece of land. If we can give land to farmers in the Caribbean, we can give to our own right at home.
To the member of the PDP, I think as a new party you are starting off with the same form of politics that is present in our country right now. I don’t think it is necessary for you to attack Mr. Ramsaroop, even if he is worthy or not. You just do you and let Peter do him and let the people make the choice. Calling people names and all that is unnecessary, one thing leads to the next. We the people are tired of this.
If it wasn’t for people overseas Guyana would have sunk further into economic chaos, sending remittances back to a country has ripple effect, including providing jobs, new ideas etc, its endless. We all benefit. The latest report is that Guyanese per capita sends the most money back home compared to the rest of Caribbean.

I am publically asking you why you would not want your users to see anyone but you on this forum. I said we would not attack you and we have not.
How long does it take for you to find out why our user acount was deleted from your forun as you suggested that you had no ideal that anyone was deleted?
How can younot know these things? are you not the owner of your own forum? Do you not have to approve users being deleted.
